Experience the colorful culture of a medieval village at festival time. January 13 and 14, Scouts can journey through time during the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire with its theme of "The Battle for Excalibur". The Faire will feature live performances on nine stages along with displays of full-flight falconry and armored combat. Step back in time to cheer for your favorite knight as they joust on horseback and charge head-on at a full gallop with only a lance and shield to defend themselves, or laugh and revel along with magicians, minstrels and musicians.
Hoggetowne is delighted to offer this new program for Scouts of all ages. Scouts can select from a variety of medieval demonstrations and activities to earn a special medieval patch. Each Scout will be provided with the Hoggetowne Passport which lists a variety of different activities. Each time they participate in a listed activity they earn a stamp in their passport.
