ENTERTAINMENT

The sound of applause echoes from the Faire’s nine stages, where the forgotten skills of full-flight falconry, gripping aerial acrobatics and old-world magic come to life. Jugglers, knife throwers and merry dancers add to the excitement as they fill the streets of Hoggetowne.
In conjunction with this year’s theme of the Rise of Robin Hood, the Tournament Field will host a stunning show of combat entertainment during a Living Chess Match as once again, Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham square off in one of history's oldest rivalries!
On the north side of the Faire, a large arena stands, welcoming any and all glory-seekers to its field. In this place, the brave jousters of Hoggetowne, the Knights of the Golden Age, step into the fray, creating one of the Faire’s most popular attractions. Here, knights in full body armor battle each other on horseback. After the show, children can meet the knights and their magnificent steeds.

The streets of Hoggetowne come alive with dancers, minstrels, stilt walkers and more.  Processions of the entire cast of characters delight visitors twice daily.
