40th Annual ​Hoggetowne Medieval Faire

​Two Weekends of Medieval Merriment

Hear ye, hear ye! In 2027, as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire, we return to a multi-weekend celebration at a new home: Gainesville Raceway!

This grand return brings with it the chance to welcome back some beloved fan favorites, including the thrilling joust and Pipers Pub, featuring its beloved handcrafted sodas, along with many more medieval traditions our loyal faire-goers have missed.

Across five days of revelry, artisans and craftspeople shall ply their trades, olde world demonstrations shall enchant, and the clash of swords in stage combat shall echo through the faire grounds. Medieval music and dance shall fill the air, while our living chessboard brings strategy and spectacle to life. Witness royal knighting ceremonies with the King and Queen, feast upon faire favorites, and, of course, savor the timeless delight of a hearty turkey leg!

As we embark upon this exciting new chapter, we celebrate four decades of magic, merriment, and medieval tradition. We look forward to welcoming thee back for the 40th Anniversary Hoggetowne Medieval Faire at Gainesville Raceway on January 16–17 and January 22–24, 2027.

Parking Information

The location provides ample parking comprised of a mixture of grass, dirt and asphalt.  There is designated ADA parking.
​VIP parking will be available to be purchased online. More information coming soon.
